Thrift Store Revolution

We are Thrift Store Revolution from Tampa, FL. We have a groovy sound that blends elements of ska and reggae along with some latin, rock, punk, and jazz flares (to name a few).

We are drawn together by the desire to make what we call “selfish music”. From the creative process of writing the songs, to the exhilaration we get from performing on stage, we are fully invested in every stage of our music’s journey.

On and off stage, we always look forward to making new friends, sharing our music, and supporting other talented local artists. Due to our very diverse musical and cultural backgrounds, our music is a harmonious blend of sounds and textures with catchy hooks and foot-tapping beats.

Courtney Shilo

Hailing from Beaumont, Texas, Courtney Shilo is anything but a typical R&B singer. Since the age of four, Shilo has effortlessly captivated audiences through her distinct talent for music. She received her degree in Sociology from Texas State University in December 2014 and has since starting working on her debut EP titled, “A Single Life.” She has had several singles from her project featured on Houston’s number one radio station, 97.9 The Box, and she is ready to take her talents outside of Texas. Shilo has participated in numerous competitions, including Showtime at the Apollo, and can’t wait to use her talent to share her story to the world.

Mely Marie

Mely Marie is an American model, singer and songwriter. Born in Secaucus, NJ to Puerto Rican parents she first became interested in music at the age of 13 when her 8th grade English teacher recommended she sings the national anthem for her school. It was in the small Puerto Rican town of Morovis,  where Mely had her first performance, a local talent show. She recalls feeling mix of energy and nervousness, as well as telling her mom: “I’m sweating so much I feel like I’m about to faint”. Being a bilingual artist, Mely credits her earliest musical inspirations to Selena. Later as a teen she also drew inspiration from Jlo, Rihanna and Destiny’s Child.

Mely’s first recording was at the age of 17, a few years later she released her debut single “All Night”. Currently she is working on her first EP: “J.O.Y. In addition to singing Mely is also an up and coming model, who is sought out by many local photographers. As a result, she is now a brand ambassador for Saboteur fashion clothing line. She plans to continue releasing music and grow her brand both as a singer and a model. When asked what she hopes her listeners take from her music, he simply responds: “I want my listeners to feel connected with me, I want my sound and my voice to have a meaning and create different emotions when they sing along.”

 Keezie Free

McKenzie Freeman aka Keezie Free is a professional dancer, choreographer who also juggles the title of singer, rapper, actor as well as musician. Recording for a little over the past decade, Keezie is the pride and joy of his native Columbia, SC. A model for those who have witnessed his climb first hand, Keezie now calls Spring Hill/Tampa Florida his home as he continues the push of his brand (Free World) through music and dance. Having recently wrapped up work on his Backwoods and Bae full length, he has jumped head first into crafting songs for his keezmode2 and Feelz EP due to follow.

Citing Andre 3000 as his favorite artist, Keezie’s take to the influence can be seen. Keezie was born as somewhat of a “miracle baby” as a result of 3 holes in his heart. With his goal of inspiring others to overcome obstacles in life, Keezie’s content is reflective of an ambitious individual who will by all means deliver on his promise of success. Watch him as he prospers. 2018, Is definitely Keezie’s time to shine.
